Prof. Joseph Moisseiev completed his residency in Ophthalmology in 1986, and a two years research and clinical retina fellowship in the Wilmer institute at the Johns Hopkins University Hospital in Baltimore in 1990. In 2002 he became an Associate Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology in the Tel Aviv University. He is the Director of The Goldschleger Eye Institute, The Sheba Medical Center, Israel, since 2003.
Prof. Moisseiev served as the chairman of the Israeli Retina Society from 1996 to 2000, and as the President of the Israel Ophthalmological Society from 2000 to 2004. He was the first Israeli delegate to the SOE, from 2007 to 2010. Prof. Moisseiev is a member of several international professional societies, including the AAO, The Macula Society, and the ASRS. He participated in a large number of clinical trials, and published over 70 articles and case reports.
