Biography

About GAZZARD Gus

Gus Gazzard trained at Cambridge University and UCL, joining Moorfields Eye Hospital in 2005 after a Research Fellowship in Singapore, where he ran clinical trials of glaucoma surgery.
He is Chief Investigator of the 6 year £2m multi-centre LiGHT trial of SLT in the UK and the sister trial in China. He is training surgeons in the use of the Trabectome, iStent, Xen, InnFocus, CyPass and Hydrus shunts.

GAZZARD Gus is part of the international ESASO Faculty, contributing professional expertise to postgraduate ophthalmology education and knowledge exchange.
