ESASO partners with AIM Education -part of AIM Group International- which is a company specialized in the planning and organization of educational and scientific activities, is a certified Italian CME Provider, and credited by the Italian Ministry of Health, for its extensive experience in the field.

Admission & Regulation

Our ESASO CME Courses are open to full ophthalmologists, residents, healthcare professionals, and employees working in the ophthalmic realm.
Admission into any course requires prior completion of an ESASO registration account

Tuition Fees

The tuition fee of each ESASO CME Course is stated on the ESASO website in the specific course title. Accommodation in the course city location is not included (possible exceptions are indicated in the course information). The tuition fee usually also includes didactic material and lunches at the course venue.

Payment & Cancellation Policy

The payment of the CME Course tuition fee automatically leads to full registration and is paid with a single advanced instalment prior to the beginning of the course. Full registration to the CME Course will be confirmed upon payment of the tuition fee only.

The following methods of payment are accepted:

  • – Credit card: Visa and Euro/MasterCard
  • – Wire Transfer: accepted upon request to ESASO (Mattia.silipo @ esaso. org)

Registration refunds will be granted if notification of cancellation is sent in writing to ESASO (Mattia.silipo @ esaso. org) up to 30 calendar days before the beginning of the event. After this notification time, refunds will not be possible, but candidates are given the chance to redirect their registration to another available ESASO course instead. Refunds by bank transfer or to a credit card will be processed after the event.

Consent And Release For Photographing And Filming

I consent to be photographed, filmed and/or have my personal likeness and voice recorded through other means during the ESASO events (collectively, referred to the “Recordings”). I hereby grant ESASO., its parent company, affiliates and agents and/or any other person or entity working for it or on its behalf the right to make the Recordings on film, digital, or any other media, and to use the Recordings as set out below:
1. I grant ESASO the right to release, publish, exhibit, post on conferences, events, the Internet (including use on social media channels), on DVDs or any other medium any of the Recordings, to edit and adapt the Recordings, and to use the Recordings, or any portion or edited or adapted version of the Recordings in any way ESASO deems necessary without limitations and in whatever medium deemed appropriate by ESASO. I agree that the Recordings may be used in conferences and events, as well as for internal and external training sessions, and covered by the media in whatever medium deemed appropriate by ESASO.

2. I grant ESASO the right to use, copy, modify, alter, create derivative works, publish and otherwise display the Recordings in print, web (including on social media), physician materials, and direct to patient materials now and hereafter in all countries. I assign to ESASO all rights, including, but not limited to, copyright, moral rights, and other rights of authorship, in and to the Recordings and in all reproductions of the Recordings and in all resulting materials produced from the Recordings. I agree that ESASO owns all rights in and to the Recordings and that ESASO may obtain in its name a copyright in any materials or production containing the Recordings.
I understand that my consent is voluntary, that I am not required to sign this consent and that I may in fact refuse to sign it, thereby prohibiting ESASO from obtaining or using the Recordings.

3. I waive all rights I may have to claims for payment or royalties in connection with any exhibition, televising, internet posting, or other publication of the Recordings, irrespective of whether a fee for its use is charged by any third party.

4. I release ESASO from all claims, actions, damages, liabilities, costs, and/or expenses of any nature arising out of or in connection with ESASO‘s production of the Recordings, ESASO’ distribution, display, editing, or adapting of the Recordings or any other use by ESASO of the Recordings, including, but not limited to, any claims for violation of my rights of privacy, moral rights or copyright, or any other cause of action that may result from such use or disclosure by ESASO.
