Dr. Paolo Fogagnolo, MD, is an assistant professor in ophthalmology at Università degli Studi di Milano, Milan, Italy. He graduated in Medicine in 2000 and postgraduated in Ophthalmology in 2005, both at Università degli Studi di Milano, Milan, Italy.
He is an experienced surgeon of the anterior segment, and his clinical fields of interest are cornea, ocular surface, and glaucoma. He is author of more than 100 international, peer-reviewed papers. He is currently associate editor in four journals in the field of Ophthalmology. He has been principal investigator in several clinical trials on cornea and ocular surface, including those for the approval of topical cyclosporine for dry-eye disease, topical nerve growth factor and corneal neurotization for the management of neurotrophic cornea, Adenoplus for the diagnosis of acute conjunctivitis.
