GUEX-CROSIER Yan

Yan Guex-Crosier graduated from Lausanne University in 1986 and performed Ophthalmology residency in Lausanne before moving to National Institutes of Health in Bethesda for a fellowship in ocular immunology. He spent one more year in Paris at the Hospital de la Pitié Salpètriere before moving back to Switzerland at the Jules Gonin Eye Hospital. Dr Yan Guex-Crosier is in charge of ocular inflammatory and infectious diseases. He is on the Editorial Board of the Klinische Monatsblätter and is currently the permanent scientific secretary of the Swiss Ophthalmologic society. His major topics of interest include the[breakdown of blood-ocular barrier in macular edema as well as indocyanine green imaging in scleritis, infectious keratitis and ocular toxoplasmosis. He developed an international patent for biopolymeric drug delivery system patent in 2008.
