I had a privilege of establishing complete Vitreo retinal department for the first time in the multi specialty hospital in 2007. In the process; trained many ophthalmologists, optometrists, nursing staff both in outpatient and inpatient surgical procedures.

Tertiary care practice: I am regularly getting referrals from ophthalmologists in individual practice, polyclinics, hospitals (Al Noor Hospital, SKMC, Ahalia Hospital & others) of several cities in Emirate of Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah.

Surgical Skills:

  1. Scleral Buckle procedures for Rhegmatogenous retinal detachment both Extrascleral (implant) and Extrascleral (explant)
  2. Vitreo-retinal procedures using 20, 23 and 25 gauge instrumentations

Vitreo retinal procedures are performed with ease using BIOM, Volk, Lander’s lens and hand held lens
