SKORKOVSKÁ Karolína
Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic
Karolína Skorkovská studied medicine at Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic and was trained in ophthalmology and ophthalmic surgery at the Department of Ophthalmology of St. Ann University Hospital and NeoVize Eye Clinic in Brno, where she has been working until now. She carried out her research fellowship on pupil research in Germany at the Institute for Ophthalmic Research of the University of Tübingen. Since 2010 she has been teaching students of Optometry and Orthoptics at Masaryk University and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2018. Her main interests include glaucoma, cataract and refractive surgery, neuro-ophthalmology, perimetry and pupil research. She is the author of several scientific publications and an author / editor of two books.
