Hard-working, scrupulous, creative and perfectionist. Chief ophthalmology surgeon at Santa Croce and Carle Hospital with advanced experience in Retina, Glaucoma and ocular traumatology diseases management. Graduated in 1997 at Catholic University of the Sacred Hearth, attended deanery (1998 – 2002) and a Ph.D program (2002 – 2005) in ophthalmology at the same university. He worked in Italy ( Ophthalmic Hospital of Rome and Santa Croce & Carle Hospital of Cuneo) as medical assistant. He improved his skills working abroad (Barcelona, Spain at Hospital de mataro– Consorci sanitari del Maresme, Clinica Baviera and Centro oftalmologico Tetuan) and attending as observer at I.M.O. – Barcelona ,Spain.

Italian as mother tongue, highly proficient in Spanish, proficient in English.

At 2021 He performed more than 2000 vitrectomies (Retinal detachment, vitreous hemorrhage, cataract surgery complications etc..), 8000 cataract surgeries, 250 no conventional Glaucoma surgeries (Deep sclerectomy, tubes implantation) and 200 corneal transplant.

Author of several national and international publications.
