Elisabetta Miserocchi is currently Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele, and a consultant for the Ocular Immunology and Uveitis Service in the department of Ophthalmology at IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele (Milan) and .

Prof Miserocchi also serves as a senior consultant for the Pediatric Rheumatology Unit and the Pediatric Immunopathology Clinic, Istituto Ortopedico G. Pini (Milan)

She received her Medicine and Surgery degree in 1996 at the University of Milan, and specialized in ophthalmology in 2000 from the university of Milan. In 2000 she completed a 2 years research fellowship in Ocular Immunology and Uveitis, Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Harvard Medical School Boston, USA. Her main clinical and research interests are pediatric uveitis, infectious and systemic associated uveitis, intraocular lymphoma, immunosuppressive therapy of patients with non-infectious uveitis with biologic and intraocular treatments, ocular herpetic disease, ocular cicatricial pemphigoid.

She has participated in several clinical and international trials as principal investigator and co-investigator and has authored/co-authored over 130 scientific articles.
