Dr. Mrejen, M.D. is an assistant professor at the 15-20 Ophthalmologic National Hospital in Paris, in the department of Pr José-Alain Sahel. She currently works as a medical and surgical retina specialist. She received her medical degree Magna Cum Laude from Cochin Port-Royal Rene Descartes University of Paris, in France. She dedicated herself one year to basic research in neurosciences and obtained a Masters of neuroscience with honor from the Pierre et Marie Curie University of Paris. She completed her residency in Ophthalmology in Paris and her fellowship in medical and surgical retina at the 15-20 Ophthalmologic National Hospital in Paris and then joined the 15-20 Ophthalmologic National Hospital as a junior consultant. She worked as a retina fellow at Vitreous Retina Macula Consultants of New York and trained with Pr Lawrence Yannuzzi, Dr Richard Spaide and Dr Bailey Freund. She has co-authored over 40 peer reviewed scientific manuscripts, written several book chapters and is the co-owner and co-creator of a patent on multi-angle OCT with Pr Michel Paques.
